I just began my quest into my geneaology, and I came across your posting. Found it interesting since my daughter's name is also Rachael M. KITCHIN. From what I know, my father and his KITCHIN ancestors lived around Waterville, Maine. I haven't yet traced our lineage to the Rachael M. KITCHIN who married Charles AINSWORTH, but I may eventually get there. Would be grateful for any info you have regarding the KITCHIN name. Thanks!
