All the relevant information I have is as follows:

Nora (born 6 Jan 1875, bap 14 Feb 1875 St Mary Blackburn), daughter of James Tazeker AINSWORTH and Jane, married Thomas BRIGGS 28 May 1898 at St Thomas, Blackburn. They had a daughter Edith (born 29 Jan 1900, bap 18 Feb 1900 St Thomas, Blackburn.)

In the 1901 census they are under the surname BRIGG at 20 Skiddaw Street, Blackburn.

Thomas BRIGGS was the son of Samuel BRIGGS and Nancy ORMEROD, who was the sister of my great great grandfather John ORMEROD.

I am not looking for details on Betty now because I found there was an error in our family tree and we are not connected to that line of ORMERODs.

Although James Tazeker AINSWORTH is not in my line I have kept some notes on the family in case they came in useful. I have:

Other children to James and Ann:
James W, born c1860 Blackburn
Dinah, born c1866 Blackburn
Richard born c1868
Esther Ann, born 27 Sep 1872, bap 3 Nov 1872 St Thomas Blackburn
Ann, born 23 Nov 1888, bap 16 Dec 1888 St Thomas Blackburn

The family was at 11 Cook Street, Blackburn in the 1881 census.

Lydia
