Your Frank Lane sure does sound to be the same person I found as F. L., brother to Jessie C. Ainsworth.
Who are Frank's parents? (and other ancestors)? Would love more information on this family. I have his parents only as initials J. C. for father, and A. for mother, both born about 1829-30.
My first cousin's wife is a descendant of Jessie C. Ainsworth so have been researching her ancestry for her. Have been stuck on the Ainsworth side so sure hope you can help.
I don't know if the F. L. I was tracking was ever in Geneva Co. I could only find him in 1880 and 1900 and he was in Butler in those years. His brother, Jessie was in Butler in 1880, but in 1900, 1920 and 1930 he is in Geneva.
