Artheney Ainsworth is my great grandmother by her third
husband, James Emory Hulett. I notice you had a
Caleb Tatum listed in the Ainsworth household. I believe
that might have been Artheney's first husband. He was
killed by the Home Guard during the Civil War. Her brother Harrison was killed by the Home Guard as well. I believe she had children named Tatum. The child she had that I descend from is Benjamin Franklin Hulett. That was the only child she had by James Emory Hulett. Her marriage license is on file in Angelina County. It lists her as Artheney Stevens (Sp?) when she married James Emory Hulett. That was her second husband. She is also listed on some census records in the home of Benjamin Franklin Hulett, her son.
