While reviewing the 1830 Census for Jones County, MS, I notice that on page 17 there is a Samson Hannsworth listed. I am inclined to believe that this is Sampson H/Ainsworth. The SK Publication listed that person as Harnsworth, however after close examination, I believe that it is Hannsworth. Since Sampson could neither read nor write, the census taker could have written down the name incorrectly. The ages seem to coincide with those of Sampson, Anna and their oldest child. So far, I do not see any Harnsworthh's or Hannsworth's listed on any other census records which leads me to think that this is Sampson Hainsworth.
