Aynsleys of Northumberland

I'm curious to know if there are any descendants out there of Michael Aynsley of Stamfordham/Ponteland, Northumberland.

He married Eleanor Bell on 20 Jun 1767 at Stamfordham, NBL and had at least five children:

Joseph Bell Aynsley b. 4 Jun 1770 at Stamfordham;
William Aynsley b. 14 Jul 1774 at Whalton, NBL;
Michael Aynsley b. 22 Jun 1775 at Whalton;
Sarah Aynsley b. 23 Jul 1778 at Whalton;
John Aynsley b. 8 Aug 1782 at Whalton.

By 1809 Michael was the Steward at Kirkley Hall in Ponteland, NBL. This was the year that my ancestor, James Charlton, was accused (mostly by Michael Aynsley senior, Joseph Bell Aynsley and Michael Junior) of robbing the rent money from Kirkly Hall. I have got a lot of information about the ensuing court cases and if there are any of his descendants out there, I would happily share this. It makes fascinating reading.

Best Wishes

Keren Charlton
