Dear Josephine, Thank you for helping me clear this up. It has been a point of confusion for me for some time. These are the two baptismal records I have for that time period. You show an additional baptism in 1800 for the second Edward? What date do you have for the bapstim and what source do you have for the record? The source for these is St. Peter, Formby Registers 1620-1837 Source : Lancashire Parish Register Society publications vol. 112, M5 1798 Aug. 12 Edward s. Anthony & Mary Aindow 1800 Mar. 9 Jennet d. Anthony & Mary Aindow How far back does your research go. I have multiple sources showing different information for the parents of Richard Aindoe (1660). One is that the parents are Richard Aindoe and Anne Leadbetter (marriage date April 15, 1654 at Walton on the Hill) and another is John Aindoe, who was a constable around that time. Sorry to keep bothering you for more details, but I love my research to have sources that I can go back to and pull the information myself. What line do you come from?
