Hello Everyone,

I'd like to welcome you to the new & updated Our Southern AKINS website:

http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~catinjax/akins

We are researching the Ancestors & Descendants of James AKINS, Sr. 1631-1713 of Henrico Co., VA which includes is great-grandson, Lewis, who died in Laurens Co., SC.

Our Southern AKINS migrated from VA thru NC, SC, GA, TN, AR, FL & beyond.......We have posted the allied surnames throughout our
webpages of Family Outlines & research notes.....so, if you find a possible
connection, please join our Email List: AKINS-L. You'll find instructions on how to join right off of our main page...We have a
spirited group of experienced researchers who will help you narrow the field......including our folks at The Clan AKINS Society.

Our Southern AKINS assembles raw data covering all Southern states including numerous spelling variations: Aiken, Eakin, Aikin, Ackin, Akin....both with & without the "S"...just to name a few; but no ADKINS or
ATKINS...those are different folks. It's a one-stop resource for much needed AKINS info....
