I've been out of the game for a while, so to speak, but I have some info that should clearly separate "my" Ichabod from the "Ohio" Ichabod.
"My" Ichabod Aikins enlisted with the Union Army on Nov. 17, 1861 and was attached to Company F, 49th Regiment Illinois Volunteers. He mustered out Jan. 9th, 1865.
I have his mustering out papers, pension records, death certificate and widow's pension papers.

"My" Ichabod was married to Rosa Catherine Powell on April 2nd, 1853 in Bond Cty, Illinois (I also have the marriage certificate).
If anyone would like further info on this Ichabod, I probably have it.

thanks and regards,
Jeff
