Bryan Ward was from Ireland. He had a son John WArd who married Kati McDaniel daughter of William David MaDaniel and Granny Snookie Hopper. Granny Snookie Hopper was daughter of Old Hop.
John WArd married Kati McDaniel and had my ancester, George Ward who married Lucy Mayes. Records of them may be found in the Carolinas, Georgia, Tennessee and in Indian Territory now Oklahoma.
Bryan Ward was first first married to lady in Ireland and John Ward was born there. He came to America and found his father married to Nancy Kingfisher. Then Bryan Ward died as will was recorded in 1815. Will states his wife at this time was named Ann. Minutes of the Court 1814-1823 pp50-50A, Frankin Co., Georgia.
According to the Springplace Moravian Mission by Muriel Wright, 1940 pp55-89 you will find records and stories of the Ward family.
I think you can find much about John Ward who was my ancestor and he is approved by DAR for linege as he fought in the American Revolution. That is an established line.
Bryan Ward was also in the Revolution and there is much about him in the DAR files in Washington. Some call John Jack Ward that but I have always referred to him and most records refer to him simply as John Ward. Betty Mayer
