Thank you. I appreciate any help. All my mothers people are from the south, and I grew up hearing about our Indian heritage on both her dad and mom's side of the family. I don't doubt it, but I would like to document it if possible. Didn't know it would be this challenging but it's also more fun. My mother's maternal grandmother, our Key line, would only say she was "Black Dutch". I don't believe anyone really knows what that means. Mother's dad (Anderson line) just said he was Cherokee.
