I have been wondering if I may be a descendant of MATHIEU DA COSTA. I got my DNA test results from Sorensen Molecular Genealogical Foundation a couple of years ago & find I'm an exact DNA match to the DaCOSTAs of Porto, Portugal--a long-standing powerful family. I'm also studying the Mestis/Mulatto fur trappers & traders of Canada & the uppper U.S. Midwest as it seems I may be related to some of those entrepreneurs.

Any suspected MATHIEU DA COSTA descendants I could compare my DNA to in hopes of solving at least part of this great mystery of MATHIEU's origins?? I also have my DNA results from as well.
