According to RootsWeb family trees, Alexander Fuller was supposed to her been b. in Orange Co., NC, in 1764. Also, he was supposed to have enlisted for the Rev. War, in Onslow Co., NC. Orange Co., is in the middle of the State, in the northern part. Onslow is right on the coast, and in the southern part. I find an Alexander Fuller on the 1771 NC tax list in Onslow: If this is him, then he either
must be older than thought, or this could be his father, also named Alexander.
In any event, he was in Buncombe Co., NC in 1820-1830. If the Alexander in Onslow in 1771 was his father, then he is neither descended from Ezekiel Fuller
of Isle of Wight Co., VA, or from John Fuller of Maryland, according to my knowledge of these families, and is from some unknown line.
Otis Fuller
