Thank you for the good info. I do not have William Edward Dorris' WW-I draft card info, can you point me to it?? I do have pretty good track of him from first instance which was marriage (5/24/1899 in Ouatchita parish LA). Then, have him for each census from 1900 thru 1930. (Though, oddly, the 1900 census has him as "Burrell"?).

Main brick wall I have is to find John Dorris and Miss Painter, their progeny and their ancestors. Any help much appreciated.
