Jenna, If you see this post and have some time, I wonder if you could follow up on something for me? You posted the following: 1850, Randolph's Grove, McLean, IL, possible: Richard Passwaters, farmer, 38, b. VA Lina ", 34, b. OH Richard ", 8, b. IL Amanda ", 5, b. IL Charles Gill Henry, 1 (no ditto for surname), IL. Could the last entry be "Charles McHenry" or "Charley McHenry"? He is listed on the couple's grave marker with a birth date in 1849, which would fit. And are you sure his surname was not Passwaters? I have a "Charles" in the 1860 census, so I'm trying to reconcile things... if possible! And I don't suppose there's any possibility that the son "Richard" has a "W" somewhere? I've seen this son's name as "William P" elsewhere. And you know how easy it is to mistake a "P" for an "R". The son just older than Amanda is named "William" in the 1860 census. So, just double-checking. If you can send me the image or provide me a link, that would be great. paula dot ryburn at sbcglobal dot net Thanks in advance, --Paula Notify Administrator about this message?
