Patrick J. Ahern, native of Saleen Co. Cork Ireland, age 79, beloved husband of Margaret C. Ahern, nee Desmond; loving father of Mary (Michael) Hayes, Patricia (John) Curran, Debbie (Steven) McGee, Robert (the late Margaret) Ahern and Linda (John) Carroll; cherished grandfather of five and great-grandfather of Aberiel; dear brother of many. Visitation Tuesday, 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, 9 a.m., from the Andrew J. McGann & Son Funeral Home, 10727 S. Pulaski Rd., to Sacred Heart Church. Mass 10 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 773-783-7700 or 708-423-5400.
