AHERN, EDWARD JAMES, age 78 on Nov. 30, 2006 of Perkasie, formerly of Phila.; beloved husband of Jacqueline (Shollenberger) for 48 years. Born in Philadelphja, he was a son of the late Edward James Jr. and Catherine (O'Brien) Ahern. Devoted father of 9 children: Patricia Constable (John), Pottstown; Kevin Ahern (Susan), Chalfont; Virginia Croissette (Todd), Quakertown; Michael Ahern (Jennifer), Hatfield; Brian Ahern, Collegeville; Barbara Wertz (Rich), Verona N.J.; Dennis Ahern (Julie) Lansdale; Karen Powers (John), Sellersville; Janet Trull (Drake), Perkiomenville; one sister: Terry Ahern, Newtown Square; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Raymond and Jon, and 2 sisters: Mary Whoriskey and Alice Ahern. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Sat., Dec. 9 at 11:30 AM in St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N. Main St., Sellersville. Family and friends may call at the church on Sat. morning from10:00 AM until 11:30 AM. Int. in parish cem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Monsignor Long Memorial Fund for Catholic Eduational Ministries, c/o St. Agnes Catholic Church, 445 N.
