http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~aherns/ahcivil.htm#1878b lists two Daniel Aherns whose births were registered in Limerick Registrar's districts in 1878. One in the Glin District, which spans the border between Counties Limerick and Kerry registered in the 1st Quarter, and one in the Newcastle District in the 4th quarter. The only Daniel Ahern listed in 1879 was registered in Cork District.
