I noticed the name Henry Ahern on your message. This is probably a bit obscure, but my husband's grandfather was Herbert Henry Ahern [Henry isn't a too common name for a Co Cork Ahern!].

Herbert Henry's father was John Ahern born 1837 in Mallow, Co Cork.
