CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI AHERNS/O'HERNS

My great-grandmother, Bridget Ahern/O'Hern, emigrated to American in the 1840's. She married John Hogan in Columbus, OH in 1852 and around 1859 they homesteaded in Chippewa County, WI. They had nine children. Bridget had an identical twin sister and a brother James who danced professionally. Bridget's children were: Mary, 1856; Johannah, 1857; Patrick,1859; Mike, 1860; John, 1862; William, 1863; Bridget, 1866; James, 1868; and Thomas, 1870.

The night before she died, at the age of 93, preparing to go on a trip to visit one of her children, Bridget danced "The Rocky Road to Dublin" and announced, "I don't care where I be goin', as long as I be goin'."

Anyone have any connection to her?
