Owen Aherne married Mary Carroll in Tipperary on 12.1.1847.Owen Aherne was a coachbuilder in Tipperary.Onechild was Mary (my g/gmother came to Australia),other children were (a few went to America)....
James,Jerimah,Owen,Michael,John,Ellen, Margaret,Catherine,Bridget.Norah went to Scotland and married a Mr Dennis-they had two daughters Norah & Sadie. Another named 'Florrie" married a Herbert Hill and came to Sydney. She died and he returned to England.
Anyone have any links??
