Dear Lynn,
I don't think that we are refering to the same Henry Ahern. My great uncle Henry was born 11-30-1888 in Oswego ,NY, one of nine siblings.He died 2-17-1943. As far as I know, he never moved to Canada. My great uncle Paul Ahern was Henry's brother. He too was born in Oswego, NY (12-21-1899) . He moved to Rochester,NY at about the age of 14 with the rest of his family(They moved there around 1920). Paul Ahern, also known as "Shorty" died in Rochester 4-8- 1960. He had one daughter,Patricia, and two sons, Richard and Robert.
I guess we're searching for different Aherns.
