Elizabeth, the daughter of Jacob, was listed as born in TN in the 1860 census. Hannah, Jacob's wife died prior to 1851 when Jacob married Sussanah Wallace Baird. It was the 2nd marriage for her and probably for him. Susannah had a daughter, Sarah Ann Baird, by her first husband. Susannah was a 1st cousin to John L. Wallace who married Mary Elizabeth Ahart in 1867.

Do you know Hannah's maiden name and when and where she and Jacob married?

Do you know when and where Jacob died and is buried? Did he or Susannah leave a will? Did he and Sussanah have any children?

Did Mitchell leave a will (or other proof) showing Jacob as his son?

In the 1880 census, John L. Wallace and Bettie are enumerated in Sharp Co. Arkansas. Next door is the household of William Ahart and his young wife. Do you know how William and Bettie may be related? (The 1880 census, as shown on the LDS site, shows Bettie's age incorrectly. She was 21 when she married in 1867). Next to William's household is the household of Miles and Molllie (Wallace) Peal who was John's oldest child.

I am trying to prove Bettie was the daughter of Jacob. Any help is really appreciated. Thank you for responding.
