Hafa adai!
I was born and raised on Guam, with my mother being an Aguon(familian "chaka"). I can trace back only about 3 generations, though I really haven't started to dig in.
Anybody have info on origin of the surname? I read an article sometime back in the PDN(Guam newspaper) regarding it's origin, but did not get specific pedigree info. My understanding is that "Aguon" means "staple food"(of the Chamorros).
