My wife's faimily are also desendants of Aguilars from Michoacan. Her grandfather was Refugio Aguilar (b. July 18, 1887, d. July 17, 1982 Ft. Worth.) He was from the village of Zipiajo. He is believed to be of Tarascan indian ancestry. Refugio had one brother - Agustine Aguilar. He had two sisters Manuela and Salud.

Refugio's Parents:

Benita and Julian Aguilar Sr. They were als from Zipiajo, Michoacan.

I don't know if they are related but if you do find links, please let me know.
