My wife's mother was born an Egnor. Her father (Edward Lee Egnor)was born in Boyd Co., Ky. Later lived in Whitley Co., KY and eventually moved to McDowell Co., WV. Edward' s parents were Samuel Newberry Egnor and Sarah McKeehan. Edward had a half brother Elijah who was born in IL, raised in KY and may have moved to OH (Dayton area). Samuel Newberry Egnor's father was Samuel Egner born in KY. Don't have much more info yet but hope that we may make some links and fill in lots of blanks.
