Hello! I'd be interested in corresponding with anyone researching the Aegender/Agner/Agnor family of Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio, or North Carolina, from 1731 to today. These are seemingly all descendents of Johannes & Margarita Aegender of Switzerland. There's lots of documentation missing for this family and it is often mixed up with the Johann Mathias Egner family, so it's been real fun researching! I come off the Viriginia branch that evenutally got changed to Egnor. There are at least 50 known variants to the spelling of this family--some not so obvious! So if you have a name you think might be a variant, give a yell! I am the administrator of both the Egner and the Agner mail list. If you would like to subscribe, send an email with just the word SUBSCRIBE in the body to either Right now the Egner list has the the most subscribers and is the most active and both lists cover all variants. Look forward to finding new cousins!
