i was at the greensburg,pa (westmoreland county) courthouse this past tuesday 12/19/06 looking for info on thankful but didn't find any. i know there is info there as my cousin sara jane found a possible conx with thankful and a william agger in 1790 court procedings.we think there is a conx and are still working on it.the old time writting of agger could be agges as the "r" may have not been completed downward making an "s".we know that thankful came into butler county, pa in 1796 from westmoreland county.several of her documents in butler county have various spellings including aggus/aggas/agus/agges/aggis/agis.if you look at previous messages, i recently connected with pamela aggus hayden who is doing the abner aggus history which is thankfuls' second son.sylvanius, thankfuls first son stayed on the farm in butler county, pa while abner left around 1810 to go fight indians down the ohio river and never heard from again.we thought he was dead until pam and i made this conx.james robert aggas 12/21/06
