I am only beginning to research this Ager name and I, too am not having very much success. I am married to an Ager and there seem to be secrets here and there and yes! brick walls. Another Ager who tried to research this said there were cover-ups!
My father-in-law was born in Bremer County, Iowa, city of Frederika, 1922. The people who raised him were John Newton Ager and Pearl (Leech/Leach) Ager, but there are questions as whether or not these were his birth parents!
We have been told that Ager's came from Lancshire, UK.
Can we help each other?
