I have a very poor photocopy of the marriage cert. Abraham Ager married Jane Price in the Parish of Poplar (Middlesex) Jun 19th 1871. She was 25 (widow) he was 21 (bachelor). He is described as a labourer. His father was Abraham (labourer). Her father was John Chaffey (shipwright). At the time of marriage they both lived at 39 Pier Terrace, Cubitt Town.
(Cubitt Town is on the Isle of Dogs, East London. I was brought up there)
Witnesses were Frederick Vellenoweth and Margaret Hutchinson.
Not sure what happened to Abraham but apparently Jane went on to marry twice more! She had 3 children (including my grandfather) at the time of her marriage to Abraham Ager.
