My name is Danny Agan. My. father was named Joe Agan and lived in Texarkana Texas , which is where I was born. I have been told that his parents were from West Texas or possibly Roswell, New Mexico. My grandfathers name was Lee Agan. I now live outside of Atlanta Ga. and I have found that there are several Agans living in the Atlanta area. When I first moved here years ago a met James Agan. He shared with me a family history of the Agan name that indicated that persons named Agan came to the United States in the early 1800s from Ireland. These Agans made port in Savannah Ga. and then started migrating West. I have always been curious as to how many Agans came to this country and if we all share a common ancestory. Any information that you wish to share about the Agan name I would be glad to learn.
