My Great Grandmother was Isabell E. Afflack. She married Albert S. Rowley about 1860 in Richland, Washington County IL. She is found on the 1850 census in Washington County with Thomas B. Afflack and Elizabeth Afflack who I believe to be her parents both born in TN.
She also had 4 other sisters and 1 brother, James C. Afflack. The Afflack/Afflecks seem to have been elusive. There was an older woman also named Elizabeth probably her grandmother and some other Afflack families in the neighborhood. Many of the males were named John or James the females were named Elizabeth, Nancy and Sarah in many instances.
They seem to have disappeared after 1850. There seems to have been little record of them in TN. I will give what I have to anyone who can use it. Would love more info on my bunch. They seem to be rare so probably are all connected.
