There is a James Affleck in our family tree who was born 29.4.1759. I'm
unsure if he was born in Scotland. His father (also James Affleck was a
vicar in North Hamptonshire, England). There family, however, are descended
from Scots. This James Affleck died on 10.8.1833. He was a "Sir" and
unmarried, so it probably is not the one you are after. His mother was Mary
Proctor.
