Yesterday, while prowling through every Wilson Co. reference I could find on the web, I saw a court record sentencing John Afflack to prison for 11 months for murdering his wife. I don't have the reference but the date was too early to have been John Jones Afflack so perhaps his father?

My interest is in the Susan Anna (Susannah) Joplin who married John Jones A. in 1845 in KY. My Susannah Bennett married Allen G. Joplin in Wilson Co., in 1833 when she was 17. She supposedly died (according to Joplin Family records) between 1843 and 1850, but I can find no record of her death or burial. Allen Joplin left Wilson Co., for MO circa 1853. Could there have been a divorce and he got the kids? Any leads appreciated.
