Before 1750 the Affleck name was often recorded as Fleck or Fleckie as I found in my family who were mainly from Roxburghshire,Scotland.
My husband was know as 'Fleck' as a schoolboy
in 1940-50s in Scotland.
In 1600 I found Flek.
Happy hunting
Marion
