James or "Flik" was an able seaman with me and we visited Sydney in 1945 but he was as Scottish as they come as far as I remember and was a highlander. He may have gone back to Australia after the war but I lost track of him im 1947 when I left the navy. He and I were "oppos", navy for good friends.
Hope we have the right man because I have photos and would like to hear more of him.
