Laura,

From what I've seen, ADRIAN roots are traced to several parts of Europe -- Ireland, England and Germany come to mind. Some attempt to tie the name in to Emperor Hadrian, and that could certainly be true.

You might want to check through the archives of the ADRIAN Rootsweb mailing list for past posts. A few people have posted their ideas. Maybe they'll repeat their posts here? Duplication can only help reach more of us researchers! Go to:
