Thank you, Dawn. I forgot to check for awhile whether anyone responded to my own message. Others have told me that the ADRIAN's and TIPTON's were allied families, and I'll certainly check out Jefferson County. In the meantime, I found no sign of my ADRIAN's in Cleveland despite what the death certificate said. Instead, I'm wondering if they could be this family from the 1860 Conshocton, Bedford Twp., census:
