Hi Bobbi!
Glad to meet another descendant of a survivor of the shipwreck. I am descended from MJ's older brother Stephen who was my 2nd great grandfather and am a distant cousin of Mimi's. I also believe that my 2nd great grandmother's family (the Neubauers) were also aboard the ship. I see where cousin Mimi has sent you the text of the newspaper article of the shipwreck which makes pretty neat reading. I have been to the National Achives twice in an attempt to try to secure some sort of documentation of the survivors trek though the consulate at St John's without much luck. I now live in western Michigan so trips back east are not to often. I am hoping that the wife and I will be able to make a trip up to the Renews area sometime to do some more research. Well. I just wanted to say hi and good to hear from you
