seeking Sally Ann Wigginton b. 1939 Los Angeles, CA

My mother, Verna Jean Wigginton, died in 1955. I was adopted out of the family after her death (I was 3) and had no contact with her family until I searched and found several of her siblings in Salt Lake City, UT in 1971. I had limited contact with them but was told that my grandfather, Claude Wigginton, left the family sometime in the 1930s and went to California. He was rumored to have a new family there.

I recently found him on the 1940 census in La Crescenta, California with Mila Wigginton and four children listed as Wiggintons. The first two were really Flemings from Mila's first marriage, the second two were Claude & Mila's children - Robert and Sally Ann. Robert Andrew Wigginton, died in 1973. Sally Ann Wigginton, may still be alive. She was born 9 Oct 1939 in Los Angeles. Her mother, Mila Kramer, was first married to David Fleming, then to Claude Wigginton. She may have married a Pridell after that. It appears that she and Claude split up in the early 1940s. His draft card shows him living in Oakland alone in 1942.

Sally Ann Wigginton is my aunt. I so hope to find her or her children! An unnamed woman showed up at the Wigginton home in Salt Lake City sometime before 1970 announcing that she was their new sister from California. They refused to talk to her. I believe that this unknown sister is Sally Ann Wigginton.

Ten years ago a search angel on this site helped me find my lost half brother Steve (last seen in 1955). I hope one of you can help me find my Aunt Sally.
