A good guess at his birth date. (If you were born in XXXX and he was XX then he was born in XXXX).

The places some of the children were born if you know any and the date if you have to guess, guess, guess (or places he may have been.) If after you were born, he was in Oklahoma for 2 years, he could have had a child in Oklahoma and so on...you get the idea.....

Any guess at a name for a mother (something you overheard years ago) of any child would be great to help get the right Newell if/when we find one.

The Social Security Death Index has 24 Newell Johnson's in it with no middle name and 4 with a middle name that is not a "T". This is a common name.

Four of the Newell Johnson's got the SS Card in California, he may have passed on and is in the Death Index, that is why searches need some kind of date. If you find someone you can backtrack that person...

Did he have any brothers or sisters and where did they live? This is somewhere else to look for him and where he could have had children.

Good luck,

James
