Ray frederick rhodes is deceased, unfortunately, but any info. would be gold. He has a son, Raymond Rhodes(maybe Ray,also) and a daughter, Betty. don't know if shes married, or is still a Rhodes. looking for my mothers birth father. we think it is Ray Frederick Rhodes born April 23, 1915. deceased Jan. 1979. he was a dentist in world war 2. and later opened a practice in purcell, ok. business address was 226 S. 4th street, purcell, ok. a young woman named Martha Lorene Taylor worked for him briefly. All of this took place around the 1950's. probably 50,51 somewhere around there. it was highly suspected around town that the dentist ray f. rhodes was the father. no proof. Martha Taylor was staying with family in purcell at the time. she was around 16, 17, or 18 yrs. old at the time. the family member she was staying with was named Maude Tate. there was an optometerist next door to the dentist office. his name was johnny lelas tate. and also on the other side of him was a practicing M.D. named Dr. Royster. any info at all would be helpful. martha taylor moved back to Arkansas, and gave birth to the baby in Lake Village, AR. named it Tonia Marlene Johnson. She gave it her husbands name.( not rhodes.obviously) PLEASE help-desperate for ANY info. rumors, thoughts stories anything. want to find toni johnsons birth father. toni is my mom. Martha taylor was my grandmother. now deceased. her mom was flossie taylor. dad was irvin newton taylor. ray f. rhodes has a son, raymond rhodes, possibly ray, and a daughter, betty rhodes. she may be married, and has different last name now.
