My 2nd cousin who is a direct line to the Days, says either him or his father were adopeted. So far it looks as if Albert was adopted, not his father. One example is Allie was born in 1979, but not listed on the 1880 census. Also, on his WWI record he had his birth year as 1880, but unknown to the month & day. On another census, his mom has 0 listed as children alive & children dead. Then on his WWII reg card, he has his full dob AND says he was born in Salem. -His parents always lived in Cape May as far as what I'm told. I know that's not much to go by, but it's all I have so far. ;)

No I haven't applied for the b.c. yet, but I was wondering if it would even show his birth parents on it. I wasn't sure how that worked. :)
