Adle, one of the oldest residents of Knox county and grandmother of Mrs. Will BOUTELLE of this city passed away at the home of her grandaughter, Mrs. E. A. A. ALLEN of this city. The aged lady retained her faculties to a marked degree and was able to give many interesting reminiscences at the early history and development of Knox County. Mrs. Adle was present at the Lincoln Douglass debate in this city and had the pleasure of shaking hands with President Lincoln. The deceased was able to see and read without the aid of her glasses and her other faculties were keenly preserved. The funeral will be held in the Maquon M. E.
