I've been researching the Robertson line (and getting nowhere). My great grandfather was William Robertson, born Jan 1835 in Breckinrdige County, KY. His mother was Mary Jane Adkisson and father was ? (perhaps Samuel or Lewis) Robertson. The father (Samuel/Lewis) died and Mary married William Burgess.

William Robertson and Mary Jane Adkisson had four children that I know of--William (my ggrandfather), Sara Ann, Lucy Catherine, and Nancy Jane. There are Adkissons in KY who moved to Nebraska (Washington County) and I'm trying to see if they are the same branch. (My ggrandfather also moved to Nebraska -- that is why I'm thinking/hoping there is a connection.)

Do any of these things match anything you have?
