I am seeking information on Martha Adkinson, born May 15, 1855 in Union County, Illinois supposedly to Williford Adkinson and Hulda Corzine.
I believe this Martha Adkinson is the same person as Martha Hinkle who married William C. Noblin on June 11, 1871.
I am unsure if she married a Hinkle man prior to marrying Mr Noblin, or if she was at some point adopted or raised by a Hinkle family and took their name.
In 1876 she was divorced from Mr. Noblin and married George Severs about 1877. In the 1880 census she is listed as Martha Severs, with her husband George, two sons, and a Noblin daughter. In the household with them is a John Adkinson who is listed as a "brother". (I am assuming her brother with her birth surname).
Any information on Martha, or her brother John, or her parents Williford and Hulda would be appreciated.
