Rob, just a postscript to my previous message. I know you are researching the Adkinsons but in your searches, have you discovered anything on Nancy Jane's husband, James Patterson? I have the information listed on the 1880 census where it states he was widowed and lists his children, also, the ancestral census for 1880 gives the name of their children who are still living at home.
If you should uncover any info on him, I would appreciate that also. At this point, other than 1880, he remains elusive. Thanks again.
