I hope this helps. I can't vouch for the accuracy of all of it.

Winchester ADKINS (Cainaan ADKINS5, Hezekiah ADKINS4, Littleberry ADKINS3, Parker V. ADKINS2, William Atkinson ADKINS1) was born 26 January 1874 in Stiltner, Wayne County, West Virginia, and died 19 June 1938. He married Ora Belle FRY, daughter of David FRY and Nancy WORKMAN. She was born August 1884. He married Juanita HERT. She was born about 1890.

Winchester Adkins and Ora Belle Fry were first cousins, once removed. Hezekiah Adkins and Nancy Spears were his grandparents and her great-grandparents. David Fry, Ora Belle’s father, was a son of Eliza Adkins (daughter of Hezekiah and Nancy Spears Adkins) and Hezekaih Fry.

According to Ronnie Adkins’s book, page 236, Winchester was a Norfolk and Western engineer and a merchant at Williamson, West Virginia.

The Adkins book mentions only Belle Fry as Winchester’s wife and lists their children as i. Daughter ii. Harmon iii. Oscar iv. Morrell. Various online sources list Belle Cummings as Winchester Adkins’s wife and the mother of some or all of his children. I have not been able to document that marriage. Perhaps Ora Belle Fry is being somehow confused with Belle Cummings. The possibility that Ora Belle Fry married a man named Cummings before marrying Winchester is unlikely, since she was only 15 when she married Winchester.

The 1900 census for Ceredo District, Wayne County, West Virginia lists: Winchester Adkins 24, born January 1876; wife Ora B. Adkins 15, born August 1884; sister-in-law Spicy Fry 21, born October 1878. [Note: Spicy Fry was Maude Spicy Fry, Ora Belle Fry’s sister.

The 1910 census for Williamson, Mingo County, West Virginia lists: Winchester Adkins 29, married for the second time, for 3 years, West Virginia-West Virginia-West Virginia; wife Waunetta Adkins [Juanita Adkins] 20; married for the first time, for 3 years, Arkansas-Georgia-Indiana; son Harmon Adkins 1 year, 5 months, West Virginia-West Virginia-Arkansas; daughter Cora Adkins 9, West Virginia-West Virginia-West Virginia.

No other census records for Winchester Adkins, Juanita Adkins, or Ora Belle Fry Adkins were found. One online source states that Ora Belle married Andrew Leonidas.

The 1930 census for Stonewall District, Wayne County, West Virginia lists: Harman Adkins 31, widowed; son Henderson Adkins 11; daughter Clara Adkins 9; daughter Cora Adkins 6; son Winchester Adkins 4. The names Cora and Winchester make me think that Harman might be Winchester's son, Harmon.
