They are buried in the Reed Family Cemetery in Whitley Co., KY. Jess Adkins was apparently born in Campbell Co., TN in 1894 to Joshua and Clarissa Adkins. He died in 1944. His wife Jicie was, I believe, a Staniford. She was born in 1897 and died in 1969. Since they are buried in the Reed Cemetery, I assume that Jess was probably related in some way to my grandmother, Nellie Adkins Reed. Nellie's dates are 1896 - 1976. She and her husband William H. Reed are also buried in the Reed Cemetery. Can anyone tell me how, or if, Jess and Jicie Adkins were related to Nellie Adkins Reed? Thanks in advance! Notify Administrator about this message?
