I just went back and made a copy of the 1920 census and the spelling shows up different in the children's names. And there were no more children after little Mary who was 3 yrs. old in 1910.
Instead of Clyde F. being a year younger, it shows Peter as a year younger. It could have been the census taker who messed up.I wonder if the "F" was supposed to be a "P" for Peter.Clyde is kind of hard to mess up and mistake for a mother telling the census taker her son's name is Clyde.
Also, who looked like "Missouri" in the 1910, now is spelled MINNIE.
The two oldest children...James and Otto, have already left home, and Maggie is listed as the oldest child at home, 21 years old.She no doubt married shortly after that.
Hope this helps you.I do promise to go check out the 1930 census for you and see what I can find.We will take this one step at a time and try to do it right.
Linda
